God does not dwell in temples made with human hands

Like Paul and Stephen, George Fox heard God's declaration that He does not dwell  in temples constructed by our outward hands.  Rather, the Lord ministers to us where we happen to be located at the moment.  But he dwells in our hearts and souls, gathering us to discern His expectations for His people.

Jesus, Fox's example, rendered His Sermon on the Mount (not in a temple).

Likewise Jesus rendered His admonition to His disciples that they must love each other as He loves them.  It is a love that not only consoles but challenges us to Live obedient lives.

In short God does gather His flock to hear His commands whether we happen to be in meeting houses or on our farms.  Yes, the Lord relates to us wherever we happen to be, individually or gathered in  His name.
