Servanthood

Throughout the scriptures of Truth, God preaches the utter necessity for His followers to serve each other in the love and power He so graciously provides.  By listening to His inner-voice we can relate to the needs of our fellow humans provided that we are in the state of obedience.

Jesus certainly understood His power of servanthood.  In the Gospel of Luke 4:18-19, the beloved Son of God declares, "The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives. . ."

Because Jesus as God's servant is cognizant of our poverty, He reveals Gospel Truth in us, enabling His followers to reveal His revelations.  This Jesus expurgates our oppression, moving us to relate to others as an emancipated people with the love and power to feed the hungry and bring joy to those experiencing sadness. Thru our obedience to Jesus, we are serving God and each other.  Let us  invite Jesus to continue ministering to us in His prophetic role as Servant.
