People of God

We are a people of the Lord when as a community, we wait on our glorious God for inspiration as well as instruction seeking to listen and  obey our heavenly Father in all ways.  Yes, we strive for His Lordship in reverent humility.

But before we can claim to be a people of the Most High, individually it is imperative for us to develop a relationship with Him in the power of His everlasting Son who was with God when our Heavenly Father created this world, His world.  This means as obedient individuals we need to wait on His power and accept the revelations He affords us, including His endearing love for each individual, regardless of race or class.

Then our Lord gathers His obedient sheep and sends the Holy Ghost inwardly to reveal God's everlasting Truth that overcomes all error.  We learn in this magnificent relationship that God's knowledge is far superior to our own, so superior that we must not question our Lord.

To the contrary, He teaches us the utter necessity to reject Ranterism, which is proclamations we make when we ignore God's direction and assume we are knowledgeable without Jesus's presence.  That is why we need to recognize our  poverty and submit to the Lord's wisdom.  As a result of this obedience, we become a people of God in His all-powerful Love.

Thru this aforementioned obedience, we will be able to work for peace and justice-but in the Lord's power, not our own.  And we will rejoice in God's enduring peace.  That joy will enable us to respond to the needs of the sick and disabled among us.  We will be aware of His compassion, small wonder, in the love of Christ, as a People of God, it is imperative for us to reveal the everlasting gospel, to other individuals for them to become a people of God, joining us in His beloved Kingdom.
