God's Worship |
|
Often, upon entering meeting for worship, we are in God's grace. Unfortunately, that is not entirely true much as we wish it were so. We come to worship dressed in our worldly clothes concerned with our cares and desires. In that condition, it is difficult to hear God, let alone obey our Master. But Jesus is a loving savior who cares about the welfare of His people. That is why, in worship He silences our aspirations and opens our hearts to God's inspiration and instructions. Then we are able to hear inwardly the voice of God and understand what He requires from us. In short God provides His peace and thus we become obedient servants. No wonder we can leave the worship of Jesus in peace that overcomes inner violence. No wonder we become true Friends after such a gathering.
