Testimony

"Christ will not be complicit in murder.  He will die (before resurrection), but He will not kill.  And so the summons: We are not permitted to kill, or be complicit in killing.  The prohibition stands firm: no matter the cause at issue, no matter the provocation, no matter the flags or polls, no matter the president, no matter the generals, the heavy triumphant faces and sere fatigues and flash pan victory.  Every gun must fall from Christian hands, every missile must be transformed to a plowshare, every heart and structure must be disarmed.  The attendants of the nonviolent Christ do not fight, kill or wage war."

- Daniel Berrigan
Testimony

We true Quakers recognize along with early Friends that Jesus orders us to live in the power and virtue that takes away the occasion of War. This Christ inculcate us in love that pervades us in His peace, provided that we obey Him  completely.  We need, in other words, to receive His Lordship,  Then ,along with my friend, Dan Berrigan, we can become true apostles of Peace.
